They can be attached to all our standard tube rings. $90.00TSSSBCM Santa Barbara Instrument Group was nice enough to include a tripod adapter screw hole in their very popular ST7, ST8, ST2000 and SST10 series of cameras. The cameras are easy to adapt standard SLR camera lenses for wide field exposures. The only problem is the tripod screw hole is not on the natural balance of the instrument. Our TSSSBCM is designed to overcome this and allow the use of the camera in “piggyback” mode attached to a standard 3″ dovetail plate. The camera mount is designed to mate with our TSSCB1 Clamp Block. For those that want to use a telephoto lens with your CCD camera the centerline of the lens is compatible with our TSSGR4 4″ guide ring. The guide ring is useful to stabilize the end of a long telephoto lens. The TSSSBCM is 6″ wide, 5.5″ high and 1″ wide. The camera nest is felt lined to protect your CCD camera. There is a clearance hole to bolt through to the triopd screw hole and opposite that is a “snubber” screw that is hand tightened to stabilize the off side of the camera.

$399.00All sky camera housing manufactured for use with the QHY5L-II or Orion StarShoot AutoGuider cameras. The housing is manufactured from a solid billet of Acetal Resin (Delrin TM). The camera is held in place with two nylon set screws at the top and by a soft sealing O-ring at the bottom. The O-ring isolates the lower housing from the upper housing. The upper housing includes an upper seal ring designed to provide a moisture seal between the acrylic dome and the housing body. Eight #10 stainless steel screws hold the seal ring to the housing. The lower housing also has a sealing cap that includes an O-ring and six #6 screws. There is a milled slot under the cap and an egress hole for the camera USB cable. When the installation is finalized a dab of RTV sealant on the cable right at the O-ring will provide a proper seal. Replacement seal kits and acrylic domes are available from us should you require them.
